Prime Minister inaugurated the Coast Guard’s ‘V-SAT’ communication system

Prime Minister  inaugurated the V-SATNET communication system attached to the force with the help of various physical infrastructures of Bangladesh Coast Guard and Bangabandhu Satellite.

The project aims to link the BCG Marine ships with the Regional Headquarters through Bangabandhu Satellite-1.  After the successful implementation of this project, the BCG Patrol team will be able to communicate with HQ even if they go beyond the current VHF coverage and anywhere in Bangladesh's coastal areas.
