Tejas TJ1400 PTN Packet Transport Network

The Tejas TJ1400 is a compact MEF CE 2.0 certified PTN platform which is targeted for deployment in the edge and access part of a packet transport network. TJ1400 is built around MPLS-TP technology and is best suited for telecom operators who would like to deploy packet switching based data services, while still retaining the SDH/SONET circuit style operations, administration and provisioning model. TJ1400 supports all key SDH/SONET concepts like alarms, performance monitoring and NMS based provisioning on a pure packet network. It also supports legacy TDM services through circuit emulation.

Key applications of TJ1400 include 4G/LTE backhaul, enterprise Ethernet services, broadband and triple play infrastructure and enterprise services.
